Come join us for a festive Autumn Equinox Celebration at Carolina Bauernhaus! Embrace the changing of the seasons with live music, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. Let's gather together to welcome fall in the cozy atmosphere of Carolina Bauernhaus.
You're invited to write your intentions for the season ahead and place them on a communal installation for the taproom.
Ticket pricing for the herbal workshop will be added to the event once all of the details have come together! Keep an eye out for the add-on at Eventbrite.
Local card readers will be offering equinox-themed mini readings throughout the evening.
Enjoy an outdoor show from Émigré in Carolina Bauernhaus' covered biergarten. Émigré prioritizes tunes and songs from tradition, and boasts a very entertaining variety of folk songs, ballads, maritime songs and lullabies alongside lively reel and jig sets. They value the history and folklore behind their music, and during their performances, they use these songs as opportunities to introduce different aspects of the history and culture of the North Atlantic Islands (Scotland, England, Ireland).

Step into the German farmhouse experience in the Village of Greenville! Join us for a day of fun with craft beer, hearty food, and festivities the whole family (and pups!) can enjoy.
12 PM – Doors open! Kick it off with Bauernhaus brews, warm pretzels, brats, and farm-to-fire pizzas.
1–2 PM – Family Fun + Oktoberfest BINGO Free to play!
2 PM – Stein Hoist Competition, Round 1 + Best Dressed Contest, Round 1 Think you can beat out the rest with your stein lifting skills? Who can hold out? Followed up by our first Best Dressed round, contestants show off their dirndls and lederhosen with a 30-second chicken dance before the crowd decides the winner!
5:05 PM – Stein Hoist Competition, Round 2 + Best Dressed Contest, Round 2 – fresh rounds, fresh winners!

Pearl Jewelry Workshop
Aug 30, 1 PM -- Pearl Jewelery Workshop: Participants will be involved in all steps of the process to create a beautiful piece of pearl jewelry. Each participant picks their oyster to shuck and discover their pearl. Everyone will then be walked through the process of cleaning and conditioning their pearl, how to use a pearl drill and set their pearl in a setting of their choosing! Rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and charms will be available. You will leave with a beautiful piece of jewelry in .925 sterling silver to last a lifetime!
Your ticket price includes the class, pearl, and a pearl drop pendant setting (chain not included). There will be hundreds of upgrade settings to choose from - rings, earrings, charms, pendants, and bracelets. All settings are .925 Sterling Silver. The idea sprouted under the collaborative roof of Railside Studios and outside upon clothes-pinned batiks drying on the line. With Summer upon us, we dreamed and drew up sunny florals that just needed to be shared with an imaginative art installation showcasing gallery walls of small to medium work. Youthful memories of the family dens you’d explore for pretty trinkets and treasures and always fresh vases filled from the season’s yield. 🌻
