This committee will follow up on any tasks that the city or county has agreed to look into, or have stated they are scheduling work to be done. This Committee will continue to stay in touch/network with City, County, SCDOT, Sheriff’s and Fire Departments, asking if there are any possible developments The Village needs to be aware of. If news is confirmed, the Village asks that the developer, City/County traffic engineers, or economic development present possible plans to The Village Business Association.
Public Art & Beautification Committee

The Village ideas on public art will be overseen by this committee and communicated to the board, and to the city or county if necessary. Membership Committee

Membership Committee is responsible for recruitment and retention of members, welcoming them to The Village, providing materials about the Village Business Association, and its community of businesses who work together for a thriving business district. The Committee tasks include membership sales, list of current members, list of possible members, communicating Village business/benefits to members and non-members (when necessary), and confirming the new member is placed on the website. The Membership Committee should also be an educational resource for businesses, an outlet that shows support and direction on navigating the community and doing business here.
